The Thermaltake TMGi1 is an Intel Socket 775 CPU heatsink and cooling fan. The Thermaltake TMGi1 is very quiet but a whole lot bigger than the stock cooling fan that came with your intel 775 chip. If your computer case has one of those intake cooling pipes on the side panel over your CPU, you will need to remove that once you install the TMGi1 on your CPU. It uses the same clip ons that the stock 775 fan from intel uses and they come set in the locked position, all you have to do is tap them in. They also have compound on the bottom of the Heatsink. You do have to remove the fan to install it (You will also have to remove the fan if you want to take the heatsink off). Use a flathead screwdriver to gently remove the fan from the Thermaltake TMGi1. Don’t squeeze it around the ring protecting the fan.
This is the quietest CPU fan I have ever owned. Definitely worth consuming.
